Swoop’s World Radio is a Southern California Internet radio show based in Long Beach, Ca., that broadcasts on the Talk Story Radio and BlogTalk networks. Each week hosts Swoop and Peter Dopulos, tap into the arts, culture, politics, entertainment, and lifestyle of Southern California.
Refusing to be locked into a specific category, the duo keep the show fresh through variety. They’ve interviewed politicians, citizens, musicians, community activists, celebrities, Olympic Medalist, Academy Award Winner and more. Their primary goal is to keep the conversation insightful and entertaining.
What started as a weekly show quickly gained momentum and listeners. It was soon picked up by other networks and expanded into two very distinct shows, Swoop’s World Primetime, and Swoop’s World Late Night.
Taylor “T-Bone” Nelson was a frequent guest on the show, joining in bi-weekly for the LB Food Review Segment. After the launch of Swoop’s World Late Night he became a regular on the late show. Providing his insight and banter to the mix, T-Bone also brings a sports angle to the show that often has the listener feeling like they’re sitting in on their favorite team’s secret meeting. He shares his insight and sports enthusiasm during his weekly segment of T-Bones Timeout, where he provides the latest in sports with his often-irreverent commentary.
Swoop’s World Late Night has become the flagship of Swoop’s World Radio. Broadcast on Wednesday nights, the show interviews artists, musicians and celebrities. The trio enjoy a beer tasting segment sponsored by DrinksWinesSpirits.com, T-Bones Timeout, give their take on news of the day, and often banter with listeners in the interactive chartroom. Swoop’s World Late Night is 3 hours of craziness that’s sure to make you laugh. Swoop’s World Late Night is Party Central on Talk Story Radio!
Swoop’s World Primetime consists of Swoop and Peter and a host of guests ranging from authors, community activists and interesting people around the globe. This 1-hour show encompasses a lot of the subjects and community involvement that inspired the launch of the show in 2009.
Kiss Me I’m Psychic The Psychic View
Christine Corda has been a Psychic Medium her entire life. Her abilities are passed down through three generations.
In 2004 Christine and her family began to undergo an extreme haunting. Finding it very difficult to obtain help from Paranormal Groups Christine learned to empower herself through her gifts and bring peace to the household. After realizing the need for a group to help persons undergoing paranormal activity and finding a great deal of animosity towards Psychics in the Paranormal Community, Christine formed NESPARA and has been investigating ever since.
Christine had been reading for people most of her life in some form or another, but became more public with it in 2006 having a large client base on the internet which transferred to her meeting people in their homes or hers and helping them there. Christine’s gifts are numerous she is able to see spirits of both human and inhuman origin.
Christine has also received channeled messages, medical knowledge of people and Angel guidance/inspiration, “The spiritual world is wide open and only wants sincere people to listen and spend the time in silence and meditation for a while and it will speak, God is very connected to his people it takes us to connect to God to make it complete” Christine has said.” She presently hosts a radio show called “Kiss Me I’m Psychic The Psychic View” on Fridays, Saturdays and Wednesdays.
The Power of Fitness With Jack Nunn
Jack created Powerhouse Fitness after winning numerous medals in various events on the international stage. He was a gold medalist in 2007 at the first ever Concept 2 Team Indoor Rowing challenge, held in Essen, Germany. In 2006, he took silver at the Masters Nationals Open Single Event. As a member of the US Rowing National Team from 2001-2004 he placed second at the 2003 Pan American Trials in double sculls and had an outstanding 2002 that saw him claim a gold medal in Senior 8 and a silver medal in the Elite Double at the US Nationals. He was also a silver medalist in 2001 in the Nations Cup (now the U23 World Championships) 8 in Ottenshiem, Austria.
Jack started rowing in 1996 for Long Beach Juniors and made the 1997 Junior National Team Selection Camp. He went on to star for four years at UC Berkeley, winning four Pac-10 championships and three IRA National Championships. Jack was a member of the first ever undefeated Pac-10 and IRA National Champion Freshman 8 in 1998 and repeated the feat by going unbeaten in 1999. Jack helped his varsity 8 place second at the Henley Royal Regatta in 1999 in the Ladies Plate Challenge Cup in London, England.
In 2008 and 2009 Jack competed in two international Ironman competitions in Nice, France and Florianopolis, Brazil.
Jack also played two seasons with the Cal Ice Hockey Team before graduating in 2001 with his Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Communications.
Jack is also a Personal Fitness Instructor, Spin instructor, and national spokesperson for the EVO Indoor Cycle. Jack is currently training for his 3rd Ironman which will take place in Cozumel, Mexico in November.
